5. Old Business:
Grants: Need to follow up with IDFG regarding grant applications. Need some information about the FNRA grant process.
6. New Business:
a. Idaho Shotgun Sports Museum: The four member-guests and the Board discussed the various aspects of establishing an Idaho Shotgun Sports Museum, or a facility to house and display years of accumulated Idaho shotgun history and memorabilia. They and the Board discussed location of a building on the club’s grounds, type of construction, how to operate a facility and when it would be available for the public. Johnson suggested a 30 x41 foot building, built as a storage unit on a concrete pad. Stevens suggested that the museum board prepare a more formal detailed proposal for the BGC’s review. Motion in favor of a storage building to house the museum’s holdings by Hurd, second by Van Etten. The BGC is willing to move forward on this pending a detailed proposal from the museum board. Motion to mark off potential location of building by Stevens, second by Hurd.
b. 4H Shoot: State 4H trap and skeet shoot is scheduled for Friday June 11, 2021. About 50 shooters are expected. We will need some outside help or volunteers for pulling and scoring the event, in addition to the BGC trappers. Shooters would like some traps open Thursday evening for practice.
c. Registered Skeet Shoot June 11-13: This is a 3-day, 4-gun shoot, with doubles Friday evening. Graham offered to provide lunch on Saturday. Grabowski and Van Etten will provide lunch on Sunday. The shoot will need four trappers for pulling and scoring.
d. Trap League Dinner and Awards June 23: Voorhis and Hurd agreed to help with league dinner. Shoot tickets will be awarded as trophies. The 10 teams will be split into three divisions.
e. PITA State Shoot Logistics: Abe will arrange for golf carts, portable toilets, ice machine, a larger dumpster, etc. Voorhis will assist with RV parking. The event needs 12 traps available, plus one practice trap and one spare. The Middleton high school girls are expected to assist with pulling and scoring, along with BGC trappers. Bottled water should be available for the line. Traps and other equipment should be installed in spare trap houses next week and tested well in advance of the shoot. Skeet shooting will not be available on Saturday and Sunday June 26 and 27. Signs alerting skeet shooters about this will be posted. Jennie will do a tri-tip Saturday night dinner for $15.00 per plate. Carter moved that the BGC contribute $5.00 per plate up to $500.00. Second by Hurd. PITA is willing to contribute a little.
f. July 4 ATA Registered Trap Shoot: Expect 12-15 squads. Need all of our trappers and then some. Middleton high school girls not available. Jennie not available to provide food service. We may need to arrange for a food truck. Stevens will look into this. Johnson donated $500 for doubles trophies; singles will have $750 to split between singles and handicap.
g. New Laporte 185 12C skeet machines were installed on skeet field 3 to replace the old Beomat machines. Twin Falls Gun Club has expressed an interest in buying a couple Beomat machines, with the remainder sold for parts. Carter will follow up on this. Grabowski thanked all the board and club members and trappers who helped remove the old skeet machines and install and adjust the new machines: Abe Wilson, Carter, Stevens, Van Etten, Hurd, Peter, and the trappers. Apologies if I missed anyone.
h. Election ballots: Need a slate of nominees for the Board of Directors to mail to members one month prior to elections at the annual members meeting, championship shoot, and steak fry on August 8. Nominating committee consists of Carter, Voorhis, Van Etten and Keppinger. About half the existing board expressed a desire to run again. All board members should help getting interested members to run for the board.

Next Board of Directors meeting: Monday July 5, 2021 at 6:00 pm at the BGC.
Adjourn: Meeting adjourned at 8:00 pm.
