Hiring Lead Cashier & Bookkeeper

The Boise Gun Club is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced part-time lead cashier and bookkeeper to join our team. The position requires approximately 24 hours per week, with working hours on Saturdays (During the Summer) and Sundays from 12 PM to 5 PM and Wednesdays from 12 PM to 8 PM.

A qualified candidate for this role should possess strong organizational and people skills and previous experience in handling payments, processing payroll, and managing financial transactions. Familiarity with QuickBooks is highly preferred, as it is integral to our financial operations. The bookkeeper and lead cashier will also maintain accurate financial records, ensure compliance with relevant regulations, and monitor cash flow.

In addition to financial responsibilities, the successful candidate will be tasked with providing exceptional customer service by answering emails and phone calls from club members and the general public. Light clerical duties, such as filing, scheduling appointments, and managing correspondence, will also be required.

The ideal applicant will have a passion for the shooting sports community. Compensation for this position is dependent on experience (DOE).
