MV Tactical & Firearms Training operates from multiple ranges across Southern California, with classroom instruction in Newbury Park and live-fire training at MB Tactical Range Complex in Piru. The business is run by Sgt. Brian Fitzpatrick (Ret.), a 34-year Los Angeles County law enforcement veteran who holds instructor certifications from both the NRA LE Division and California POST.
- •Low student-to-instructor ratios (4:1 maximum) guarantee individual attention and safety oversight. This isn't a factory-style range day—you get actual instruction, not just ammunition consumption.
Their instructors are active-duty and retired law enforcement officers with real teaching experience in both civilian and law enforcement communities. For the Gun Law seminar specifically, they partner with Michel & Associates, P.C., combining attorney Matt Cubeiro's firearms law expertise with Sgt. Fitzpatrick's operational perspective.
MV Tactical fulfills training requirements for both Ventura County and Los Angeles County Sheriff Departments, as well as LAPD and independent agencies across LA and Ventura counties.
