Full description and what we offer
Goliath Tactical Firearms Training is run by Carynn Rudolph, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran who spent 18 years in tactical instruction and a decade in restorative justice work. The difference shows in how they teach: no ego, no fear tactics, just skills that actually work in real life.
Most firearms instructors teach trigger control. Goliath teaches what to do before, during, and after a crisis. Their course catalog includes:
| Course Type | Format | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Red Dot Training | Webinar | $10 |
| Colorado CCW Full-Day | In-Person (Denver) | $75 + range/ammo fees |
| Safety Beyond Self Defense | Virtual | $50-75 (toolkit options available) |
| Defensive Dry Fire 101 | Virtual | Listed online |
Range Requirements: For the Colorado CCW class, bring a minimum of 50 rounds of ammunition. Range entry fees are separate from course cost.
"No ego. No fear tactics. Just skills."
This isn't corporate training-by-checklist. Carynn teaches that safety training should address:
They serve three core groups:
1. Individuals & Families — Zero-gatekeeping environment. First-time shooters to experienced marksmen. 2. Schools & Youth Programs — The Goliath Youth Safety Initiative brings trauma-informed safety training and violence prevention to educational institutions. 3. Community Organizations & Nonprofits — Custom safety strategies designed for marginalized communities facing real-world threats.
Launched in September 2024, this program runs workshops on:
Their team includes Leon Aguirre (restorative justice and crisis intervention specialist), Charlie Watkins (Army veteran, tactical education expert), and other professionals with backgrounds in violence prevention and behavioral health.
Beyond instruction, Goliath sells training resources:
Denver, CO — 4856 Andes Ct, Denver, CO 80249
Goliath doesn't pretend tactical training exists in a vacuum. They teach shooting skills alongside de-escalation, teach firearm rights alongside responsibility, and train youth on leadership and conflict resolution instead of just fear. That's what makes them different from the standard "here's how to aim" instructor.
