Bay 1 Biathlon pairs cross-country movement with precision rifle shooting—you're racing the clock and your own accuracy. Miss your targets and you'll pay for it with penalty laps, so this tests both your endurance and your trigger control under fatigue.
Routt County Rifle Club is running this September 20th as an intermediate event. You'll alternate between the ski or run course and the rifle line, building a cumulative score. It's a sharp way to see how your shooting holds up when your heart's already pounding.
