Full description and what we offer
Stebbins Precision is owned and operated by Richard Stebbins, a master Tool and Die maker with over 43,000 hours of experience in aerospace, defense, and medical manufacturing. Growing up in a machine shop with a father who was an FFL and avid firearms collector—and mentored by his grandfather John Roger, former owner of Jolly Roger Firearms—Stebbins was essentially born into gunsmithing. He graduated from Henry Abbott Tech in 2004 as captain of the rifle team and has been building, tuning, and customizing firearms ever since.
He doesn't just work on guns—he designs and manufactures components from scratch. Stebbins builds and tunes his own benchrest rifles, cuts his own chamber reamers, and creates custom reloading dies. He even developed his own benchrest cartridge, the 30SBC. That level of precision manufacturing knowledge translates into every job that walks through the door.
"Whether it's one of his benchrest rifles or a new set of canted trigger shoes for one of his clay's guns, he has always been devoted to working on firearms and the shooting sports."

This isn't a busy retail counter—it's a precision machine shop run by someone who actually builds and shoots his own firearms. Stebbins knows the difference between good enough and competition-grade accuracy. Whether you're rebuilding a Winchester 94, stuck with a seized case in a reloading die, need a stuck choke removed from a shotgun, or want your rifle blueprinted for maximum accuracy, he has the tooling and experience to handle it.
If your firearm broke down after years of neglect, or you took it apart and now have a bag of random pieces—don't be embarrassed. Stebbins has seen it all and charges bench labor rates for reassembly and diagnostics.
