Full description and what we offer
Wyoming Antelope Club operates the biggest public shooting range in the area at 3700 126th Ave N in Clearwater. They've built a facility that handles different shooting disciplines and experience levels—from kids supervised by adults to competitive shooters.
The range supports multiple distances and firearm types:
| Distance | Use |
|---|---|
| 6 yards | Pistol |
| 10 yards | Pistol/Rifle |
| 25 yards | Rifle |
| 50 yards | Rifle |
| 100 yards | Rifle (bench only) |
Center fire rifles must fire from the bench with at least 2-second intervals. Rim fire rifles can be shot from the bench or off-hand (bench only at 100 yards). No shotguns on public lines. No automatic firearms allowed on public ranges—those require special licensing.
Public Range Hours: - Closed Mondays - Tuesday–Wednesday: 9am–1pm - Thursday: 9am–1pm - Friday: 9am–8pm - Saturday–Sunday: 9am–5pm
Schedule varies for special events—check their calendar before heading out.
Fees: - Members: Free on public lines during range hours - Daily visitors: $30/day - Membership: $250 first year, $200 annual renewal - Active military discounts available
Members can bring guests at no extra cost (guests still pay $30 daily fee if shooting). If you want to use a different range or shoot after hours, that's $30 per day regardless of membership status.
Range officers are present and in control at all times. Mandatory eye and ear protection when the line is hot. No alcohol on the range (allowed only in the clubhouse). Minors must have immediate adult supervision within arm's length—there's no minimum age, but the RO has final say on whether a child has the experience to handle a specific firearm.
All firearms must be encased when brought to the public line. No rapid fire, no exploding targets, no tracer ammo, and centerfire calibers only up to (but not including) .50 BMG.
Wyoming Antelope Club hosts scheduled disciplines beyond the public line shooting. They offer Range Officer training classes (resume February 2026) and maintain a calendar of club activities and competitions.
