Full description and what we offer
Pensacola Indoor Shooting Range teaches the stuff that actually matters when you're carrying a gun for self-defense. That's not just trigger press and sight alignment—it's Florida concealed carry law, verbal de-escalation, legal use of force, and how to recognize when you have a life-threatening emergency on your hands.
Their flagship offering is the 4-hour Concealed Carry Class. You get classroom instruction, live-fire range time, eye and ear protection, and a training certificate—the legal requirement to apply for your Florida Concealed Weapon and Firearm License. Classes run Wednesday mornings (9am-1pm), Friday nights (4pm-8pm), and Saturday mornings (9am-1pm).
Why the CWFL matters: Federal law makes it a third-degree felony (up to 5 years, $5,000 fine) to carry concealed within 1,000 feet of a school. The license also gives you reciprocity in 37 other states and lets you skip the 3-day firearm purchase wait.
These USCCA courses are designed specifically for women learning to carry. All three cost $100 per person.
Instructor Nikkita Kent teaches the women's classes. She's USCCA certified and a Black-belt Krav Maga expert.
If you've never touched a gun, start here. The NSSF First Shots 1-on-1 class takes 90 minutes and gets you from zero to confident on your own. You keep the eye and ear protection, plus get a $25 store gift card.
Instructors available: - Harry J. Demmon Jr. (Monday, Tuesday, Friday) - Nikkita Kent (various times for women) - Col Dean Lucas, RSO (Tuesday, Wednesday)
Held Thursdays. The reality: emergency responders average 7 minutes, but people bleed out in 4 minutes. You're probably the first responder at the scene.
This USCCA course teaches: - Recognizing life-threatening bleeding - Pressure and dressing application - Wound packing techniques - Tournament use and hands-on practice - When and how to call emergency services
Day rates are $25 per person for lane rental.
Daily specials: - Monday: Military Appreciation Day ($12.50 for active/veterans) - Tuesday & Thursday: Ladies' Day ($12.50 shoot and rent) - Wednesday: Senior's Day—65+ shoot and rent for $12.50 - Fridays & Sundays: Rifle and Shotgun Days (12Ga or 20Ga Shockwave shotguns prohibited; all .223+ ammo must be purchased in-store)
Annual memberships beat day passes if you shoot more than 4-5 times per year.
