Practical Pistol - Level 1 (PTAC 1 - Advancing Skills)

This 4-hour Saturday course is designed for shooters ready to move beyond fundamentals and develop more advanced pistol handling and marksmanship skills. Taught by USCCA/NRA-certified instructors from Treasure Valley Shooting Academy, PTAC 1 bridges basic competency with tactical application.

The class combines range instruction with hands-on drills that build proficiency in real-world shooting scenarios. You'll work on accuracy, speed, presentation, and decision-making under pressure—skills applicable whether you carry for self-defense or want to shoot more effectively.

PTAC 1 is ideal for shooters who have completed basic handgun fundamentals or have equivalent shooting experience. You should be comfortable with your firearm's operation, basic safety, and grip before attending.
