Elk River Outfitters started in 2009 when the owner leased 3,000 acres for his grandson to hunt Kansas whitetail. What began as a private hunting opportunity expanded into a full outfitting operation after realizing how good the hunting actually was. His grandson has taken two bucks over 200 inches—one with a rifle and a double drop tine with a bow. They've added ground since then.
