Top Gun operates one of Maine's longest indoor shooting ranges. The seven-lane, 85-foot facility offers a safe, controlled environment for shooters of all levels. Range hours run 10am-5pm weekdays and 9am-5pm Saturday/Sunday. Everything you need is available: targets, eye protection, and ear protection.
Don't have a gun? Gun rentals start at $20 for Glock and Smith & Wesson pistols, $25-50 for rifles, and $100 for select-fire options (Thompson, UZI, M1 Carbine, AK-47, AR-15, M1 Paratrooper, and AR 10).
The retail shop stocks firearms in multiple calibers and options, with access to many suppliers:

Top Gun partners with R.D. Tactical Handgun Instruction to offer structured instruction:

The Training Series runs 6pm-8:30pm twice monthly with a 4-person minimum. Classes are held at the indoor range. Book online or call (207) 998-2806.
In partnership with R.D. Tactical, Top Gun hosts a women-only shooting group that meets one evening per month from 6pm-8pm. One hour covers training and discussion with professional instructors; the second hour is open range shooting with just the group. Membership is free. Range time that evening is $10, and targets are included. Share contact info with other shooters to organize shooting dates throughout the month.
To shoot, you need one of these: - Prior military or police background - Completed hunter safety course - A mentor who has shot at Top Gun before - Completed basic firearms training course
Membership options: - Plan #1 ($180/year): $8/hour per visit, 2 free targets monthly - Plan #2 ($295/year): Unlimited range time, up to 4 hours/day (no per-visit fee) - Family ($349/year for 2 people): Unlimited range time, up to 4 hours/day - Military/LEO discount: $12/hour per person
Additional guests: $8 per person per visit
