Century Sportsman's Club was founded October 3, 1949 by Ronald K. Barriere and ten other sportsmen who wanted to formalize their commitment to hunting, fishing, and conservation. Today it operates as a full-service recreational facility on 50 acres of wooded land in Auburn, Massachusetts.
The club overlooks a private pond with a sandy beach and picnic area—the setting that drew many members initially and still does. The grounds include:

Open to the public — you don't need to be a member to shoot the 3D courses. Raffles and prizes awarded at each event.
The club hosts signature events throughout the year:
Annual Frontiersman Shoot — A skill competition featuring black powder shooting, fishing, knife throw, tomahawk throw, slingshot, and more. This multi-discipline event draws serious competitors and casual participants alike.

Members are expected to serve on committees and attend the monthly member meetings (first Wednesday) and board meetings (third Wednesday). The club has strong governance with dedicated leadership:
