Billings Rod & Gun Club operates five distinct shooting facilities on a single property near Billings, Montana. Members get access to all of them for one membership fee—a setup that's rare in the region.

| Big Bore Rifle | Primary hunting rifle sighting-in range. Staffed with Range Safety Officers during hunting season (September-October). Free public range day each September. |
| Pistol Range | Four plate racks designed for centerfire handguns. Minimum 10-15 yard engagement distance. Hosts action pistol competitions and weekly leagues. |
| Archery | Field archery courses with top-notch facilities. Separate western archery range near main clubhouse with pending weather cover. |
| Skeet | Hosts NSSA Yellowstone Open and other regional competitions. Recently completed facilities. |
| Sporting Clays & 5 Stand | Includes the new Lewallen-Trythall Five Stand Building—all-weather facility completed in 2024. Also hosts NSCA Jim Trythall Memorial event. |

The club operates four divisions with separate officer elections: - Archery Division - Rifle/Pistol Division - Skeet Division - Sporting Clays Division
Each division hosts independent events and welcomes new participants.
The club is conscientious about neighboring property development (inner belt loop construction in Billings area) and maintains standards around facility respect. President's messages emphasize treating the facility as something "you want to pass down to your children and grandchildren."
As one message noted: "The Rod & Gun Club is your club and you can make as much of it as you'd like." The club consistently recruits volunteers for range staffing, event support, and board positions.
