This club was literally built by volunteer labor and equipment donations. In 2010, members like Kenny Porter and Steve Ganskow donated heavy equipment and hundreds of hours moving and leveling the 4.5-acre site. Matt Winkelbauer donated 20 truckloads of manure. That bootstrap mentality still runs the operation.
Elkhorn Valley partners with MidwayUSA Foundation for youth endowments—donations receive monthly matching funds up to $120,000 per month.
Club operates under strict ATA rules and requires all shooters to follow universal firearm safety standards: treat every gun as loaded, keep muzzles downrange, finger off trigger until ready, wear eye and ear protection, no alcohol or drugs on the premises.
