Full description and what we offer
Emmalee's Guns & Emporium opened in 2001 and operates as the oldest active gun shop in Pahrump. The story starts in 1999 when Daniel and Bonnie Lee White moved from the Las Vegas area to be closer to family. Daniel was retired from a motorcycle accident, but he and their son Dan II shared serious backgrounds in firearms collecting and competition shooting. The shop launched from their property with one goal: serve Pahrump's gun community authentically.
The name itself carries weight. Their newborn granddaughter was born prematurely at 29 weeks, fighting through the neonatal ICU. Named after her great-grandmother Emma and her grandmother Bonnie Lee, that baby inspired the shop's identity. That's not corporate branding—that's roots.

Nevada CCW Permit Holders: Exempt from background check fees on transfers and consignment purchases.
Found that perfect gun online or at a swap meet? Emmalee's handles it. The $20 transfer fee covers up to THREE firearms in a single transaction. Background check fees (Nevada required) are separate. CCW permit holders skip the background check fee entirely.
Don't want to deal with Gunbroker listings or garage sale hassles. Consign your reasonably priced new or used firearms, new-in-box ammo, or related accessories. Emmalee's does the work, handles the sales, and returns 90% of the final price to you. The shop reserves the right to decline items based on pricing, condition, appropriateness, or other factors.
The "Emporium" part is real. They stock: - Coins: Silver, gold, collectible, and melt-value coins (wheat pennies to bullion) - Jewelry: Rings, chains, precious stones in silver, gold, or costume pieces - Collectibles: Vintage cap guns, Harley-Davidson memorabilia, NASCAR items, John Wayne and Roy Rogers collectibles - Metalwork: Navajo squashblossom pieces ($1,200+), antique pocket watches - Oddball Inventory: Can Am Spyder RT Limited Trike (1330cc, 3,900 miles, $20,000), Olathe custom boots
Inventory changes regularly across all categories—call ahead if you're hunting something specific.
Emmalee's is transparent about limitations: - Call Ahead: Inventory pricing and stock status change. A long trip to Pahrump warrants a phone call first. - No Warranty: No expressed or implied warranty on firearms; recommend having any gun examined by a trained gunsmith before use. - Hours Are Limited: Thursday, Friday, Saturday 10am–4pm only. Plan accordingly. - 25-Year Track Record: Been in business since 2001—they know what they're doing.
Daniel White has bigger ambitions: - Expanded store hours and operations (announcement coming) - Investment opportunities for large acreage open-air swap meet/event arena - Drive-in movie theater - Poker room/club
