Location details and information
Police Association of South Jersey operates an indoor pistol facility at 41 East Broad Street in Berlin, NJ, founded by and for law enforcement personnel. The culture here reflects that: the range officer is in charge at all times, safety rules are non-negotiable, and everyone shoots from designated booths under strict protocols.
You don't need to be a cop to shoot here, but the range wants to know who you are first. The process works like this:
1. Contact the range by phone or email to arrange a visit (walk-ins are at range officer discretion) 2. Background check is performed to verify your address, criminal history, and general fitness 3. First visit: Sign a waiver, show your driver's license and NJ Firearms ID, pay $20 guest fee 4. Multiple visits required before membership is offered—you need to demonstrate safe gun handling and basic competency over several shooting sessions 5. If approved for membership: $25 application fee ($200/year regular membership or $230/year family membership). Fee is waived for military and law enforcement personnel.
