| Package | Duration | Cost/Person | What's Included |

| 3 Hunt Plan Plus | Two days + extra lodge night | $750 | Extra night for long-distance travelers |
Afternoon hunts run from early afternoon until dark. Groups are kept small—minimum 2, maximum 4 hunters per trip, and your party has exclusive use of the property during your hunt.
Licensing & Rifle Requirements
You'll need a valid SC hunting license (out-of-state: $40 for 3-day, $75 for year). Rifles calibered .264 or larger are highly recommended—hogs, especially larger ones, are tough to bring down with smaller calibers. No night vision scopes. Coyotes can also be harvested while on the hunt. :::
Hunts happen from ground blinds positioned over corn feeders. Nick handles all the logistics—scouting, blind placement, even retrieving your harvest. Once you're set in your blind, the semi-guided approach means you're doing the hunting, but Nick makes sure you understand what to expect and what to listen for.
"When you hunt with Nick, the only two times you'll need to worry about are what time is Nick dropping me off at the blind, and what time will he be picking me back up." — FM, East Stroudsburg, PA
This isn't a guaranteed harvest (no high-fenced pen hunts here), and there's no dog driving or night hunting. Fair-chase means sometimes the pigs cooperate and sometimes they don't. That said, hunters consistently report seeing and hearing plenty of hog sign.
Accommodations center around a historic lodge described by guests as warm, welcoming, and comfortable. Meals are a standout: breakfasts include continental spreads and casseroles, lunches feature sandwiches and burgers, dinners run to steaks, pork tenderloin, and full sides. Non-shooters can tag along for the lodge experience at 50% of the hunt plan cost.
Many repeat visitors mention the food and fellowship as much as the hunting itself—conversations over dinner are part of the experience.
You have options: use the local processor (5 minutes away) or butcher yourself. Processor costs run $80-100 for standard cuts, $40 for quartering, $20 for caping. Three-week turnaround. Alternatively, Nick's staff can quarter your hog ($40-60 depending on size), field dress ($35), or cape ($20). If you're traveling long distance, quartering and icing is the practical choice.
Single hunters add 50% to standard rates (exception: 1 Hunt Plan is $250). Multiple single hunters on afternoon-only hunts pay $200 each. Non-shooter guests add 50% of the hunt plan cost.
Booking requires a 50% non-refundable deposit. If severe weather (tornado, hurricane, blizzard) forces cancellation, dates move to the next available opening in the September-May season.
Reviews highlight Nick's knowledge of hog behavior, genuine hospitality, and focus on safety and ethics. First-time hunters praise the instruction and confidence-building. Disabled and veteran hunters note his adaptability and care. Families mention the bonding opportunities and life lessons hunting provides. The demographic span is real—visitors have come from Michigan, New York, Pennsylvania, Germany, and across the Carolinas.
