They've been on their current 42-acre property just outside Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania since the early 1950s. Conewago Rod and Gun Club started with nine founding members from Elizabethtown and Rheems back in 1948. They've been on their current 42-acre property just outside Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania since the early 1950s. The whole operation is volunteer-run—members handle everything from range maintenance to organizing events.
Three membership tiers:

New memberships started in November or December include the following calendar year at no extra cost. You can renew online if you have a login account, or the club mails paper renewal reminders in the fall.
Lifetime memberships available – After 5+ consecutive years of membership, you can buy a lifetime card for 10 times the current annual Regular dues (one-time payment). Senior Lifetime memberships are automatically issued in the fall if you qualify.
Members get access to:
Stationary targets at four distances plus a movable target for custom yardage. Field tips only—no real or practice broadheads. Located to the right as you enter the property.
Conewago runs public trap shoots on a regular schedule:

They have three lighted trap fields. Members can use the center trap field with manual traps outside of scheduled public events. Personal clay bird throwers are allowed only on the two middle fields (#2 and #3). Shot size limited to 7½ shot or smaller—no steel shot on trap range.
Minors under 18 must be accompanied by an adult member. No handling firearms when anyone is downrange. Prone shooting targets positioned on bottom half of backers. No cross-firing. Shooting only at the target in front of you.
Every third Wednesday of the month at 7:00 PM sharp, the club holds a range safety and orientation session. This is where you:
1. Submit your completed membership application (available for download or at the session) 2. Pay your dues (checks, money orders, cash, or online accepted) 3. Complete the safety briefing
After the orientation session, your application goes to a member vote. Membership cards mail within five business days of approval. If you have a work conflict, the club can arrange a special time.
Members can bring guests—guest passes required. Renew or purchase guest passes online with a member login account.
Available at general meetings (third Wednesday, 7:30 PM):
Periodic extended line of t-shirts and sweatshirts timed for holiday gift giving.
Established to protect and propagate game and fish, assist in conservation of forests and streams, promote safe shooting, and foster goodwill between sportsmen and game/fish authorities. Board consists of President, Vice-President, Recording Secretary, Financial Secretary, Treasurer (one-year terms) plus four additional directors (two-year terms). Constitution, bylaws, and forest management plan available on their website.
