Full description and what we offer
Providence Revolver Club opened its doors in 1903 and has operated continuously as a members-only facility ever since. Located at 25 Seneca Street in Cranston, Rhode Island, the club maintains one of the most safety-conscious shooting environments in New England.
24/7 Range Access
Members receive a key fob that grants entry to the air-conditioned clubhouse and indoor range at any time, day or night. Summer hours (May 1 - September 30) are 8:30 AM to 11:00 PM for attended operations, but members can access the facility 24 hours during off-season months (October 1 - April 30). The club is unattended during after-hours member access.
Professionally Designed Range Environment
Unlike many gun clubs in Rhode Island, Providence Revolver's range and ventilation system was professionally designed and built specifically to remove contaminated air from gunfire. This results in a notably quieter range and clubhouse experience compared to typical facilities.
Firearm Cleaning and Inspection Room
Members have access to a fully equipped "safe" room dedicated to inspecting and cleaning firearms.
The club allows: - All handguns except magnums - Pistol Caliber Carbines (compact long guns firing pistol ammunition only)
No rifle caliber ammunition is permitted.
Providence Revolver's competitive team has won the Rhode Island State Pistol Championship multiple times and welcomes shooters at all skill levels.
Team Competition Schedule: - Wednesday nights at 7:30 PM (competitive league) - Monday nights at 7:30 PM (informal practice) - League fee: $50/year (includes annual dinner) - No fee to just join the team and shoot unranked
Only the TOP 5 scores from each team count toward final team totals, so new shooters don't hurt the team's standing while learning.
Experienced members provide free guidance on shooting techniques, equipment selection, and mental approach to competition.

Not a beginner-friendly public range—this is a members-only facility with real requirements. But if you're serious about safety and want to improve your shooting skills in a clean, professionally maintained environment, the membership investment is worth it.
