The Vegas Shoot

The Vegas Shoot celebrates 60 years as the most prestigious indoor archery competition globally. Held March 26-29, 2026 at venues across Las Vegas, this event brings together over 5,000 archers ranging from rookies to Olympic champions—alongside 6,000+ spectators.

The event features the traditional 3-spot 20-yard Vegas Round that made this tournament famous. Archers compete in multiple divisions across three days:

Division Categories: - Championship Divisions (compound, recurve, barebow) - Championship Young Adult (under 17) - Flight Divisions (skill-based groupings) - Junior Divisions (11 and under, 12-14, 15-17) - Senior Divisions (50+) - Collegiate (full-time university students)

Each daily round consists of 10 ends with 3 arrows per end, shot at either 40 cm Vegas three-spot or single-spot target faces. Non-championship youth divisions shoot on 60 cm faces. Junior divisions shoot two rounds (Friday & Saturday); all others shoot three.

Wednesday, March 25 - S3DA Vegas National Championship opens - Help desk, check-in, and paid practice begin - USA Archery Nevada State Indoor competition

Thursday-Sunday, March 26-29 - Official practice sessions daily (4 AM - 7:30 PM) - Help desk and check-in (6 AM - 7 PM) - Multiple shooting rounds (5 different time slots each day: 7 AM, 9:30 AM, 12 PM, 2:30 PM, 5 PM) - Vendor tradeshow (Paris Ballroom, 9 AM - 6 PM daily) - Bow storage facilities (24-hour access) - Break the Barriers ProAm (Friday, 7:30 PM—spectators welcome) - NextGen Junior & Collegiate Awards (Saturday, 7:30 PM) - Championship Shootoffs & Awards (Sunday, 7 PM at Planet Hollywood PH Live Theater)

Scoring: - 3-spot faces scored on gold (10,9), red (8,7), blue (6) rings - Single-spot faces scored 10-1 - Ianseo official electronic scoring system - Target faces replaced after 5th end in championship divisions - Ties broken by x-ring count; championship ties go to shootoff

Dress Code Requirements (Championship Divisions): - Shootoff/Awards Podium: Collared shirt, fitted pants/shorts/skirts, closed-toe shoes; no jeans with holes, denim, T-shirts, flip-flops - Official Rounds: Professional attire, clean and undamaged clothing - Championship archers receiving awards must attend Sunday awards or face $500 prize reduction
