Bullet Trap has operated in Plano since 1989 as a family-owned range and retail center. They serve shooters from across the North Texas area with an all-indoor facility that stays clean, well-lit, and actively maintained.
The facility features 18 individually-operated handgun lanes and 2 rifle lanes, all indoors. Target carriers run out to 25 yards. A Texas DPS Certified Instructor is always on-site to answer questions.
Pistol Range Rules: - Calibers allowed: .22LR through .44 Magnum (handguns or carbines) - No rifle calibers on pistol range - No 5.7, shotgun shells (Ratshot/snakeshot), or steel case ammunition - All ammo inspected before range entry - No rapid fire (1 shot every 2 seconds, exceptions for double taps) - Draw/re-holster not allowed; bring concealed handguns unloaded in a case
Rifle Range Rules: - Calibers allowed: .22LR through .338 Lapua - All shots from seated position only - Targets set to 25 yards minimum - No double taps - No shotguns or shotgun ammunition
