Cadillac Creek Outfitters operates guided waterfowl hunts just outside Amarillo, Texas, from late October through the end of January. The operation welcomes hunters of all experience levels and targets puddle ducks (Mallards, Pintails, Widgeons, Teal), Lesser Canada Geese, Snow Geese, Ross's Geese, Speckled Belly Geese, and Sandhill Cranes.
Weekday Package - 2 fully guided hunts (one morning or evening per day) - Includes lodging, grab-and-go breakfast, lunch, snacks, hospitality bar, and chef-prepared dinners - Arrival options: Sunday with Mon-Tues hunts, or Tuesday with Wed-Thur hunts - Minimum 10 hunters for private groups (smaller groups combined)
Weekend Package - 3 fully guided hunts (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) - Same lodging and meal inclusions - Thursday arrival with Fri-Sun hunts - Minimum 10 hunters for private groups
Upland Add-On Hunts - $375 per gun per day (advance booking required) - Hunt pheasant, chukar, and quail over pointing dogs - Approximately 15 birds released per client - Afternoon hunts for downtime relaxation - Low-intensity, minimal walking required
Non-Hunting Guests - 2-day weekday package: $300 per person - 3-day weekend package: $550 per person - Non-hunters don't count toward the 10-hunter minimum
No single-day hunts available. All packages require minimum 2-day commitment and 50% non-refundable deposit to hold dates. Full balance due by September 1.
Located at 66 Helium Rd. Amarillo, TX 79124, the lodge blends Western history with modern amenities. Features include spacious accommodations with private bathrooms, a pro-shop, outdoor patio, poker tables, and big-screen TVs.
Chef and Pitmaster Clint Wirz oversees all meals. The dining experience features: - Tex-Mex, southern comfort foods, and Texas BBQ - Hearty breakfast, leisurely lunch, sumptuous dinner - Chef-prepared meals customized for dietary restrictions - Complimentary bar stocked with top-shelf liquors and wine selection

Hunters must obtain prior to arrival: - Federal waterfowl stamp - Resident or non-resident 5-day special hunting license - Sandhill Crane permit (if hunting cranes) - Texas State HIP certification - Hunter's Education Certification (unless born before Sept 2, 1971)

Hunting Gear: - Shotgun (12 or 20 gauge recommended) - Ammunition: 3" or 3.5" nontoxic shot in sizes 5, 4, 3, 2, or BB - Camo outer layer - Hunter orange hat and/or vest for upland hunting - Warm underlayers (strongly recommended) - Warm, waterproof hunting boots - Gloves - Eye protection (sunglasses or shooting glasses) - Ear protection - Raingear or waterproof outer shell - Cooler for transporting birds
Lodge Items: - Lodge shoes (boots not worn past mudroom) - Comfortable loungewear - Toiletries and prescriptions - Camera - Positive attitude
Client dogs typically discouraged. Visiting retrievers considered ONLY for private groups of 10+ hunters if: - Steady to shot - Trained to hunt from dog blinds - Current on all vaccinations - Ready to work
CCO maintains zero-tolerance policy. If a team member deems your dog a distraction or safety hazard, immediate removal from the field required.
