Full description and what we offer
Lake Creek Ranch sits in the Lelia Lake Creek valley in eastern Texas Panhandle, about 70 miles from Amarillo off Highway 287. The landscape works in your favor—high plains give way to rolling upland terrain with spring-fed creeks that concentrate game naturally.
The ranch is known for two things: trophy whitetail and world-class red deer. Their whitetail herd is made up of the Kansas subspecies—heavier bodied and heavier antlered than the smaller deer found elsewhere in Texas. They take several whitetail in the 170+ class annually.
For red deer, an extensive breeding program combines English bloodlines (mass and multi-point antlers) with New Zealand frame size to create what they call a premier North American trophy herd. Top 10 SCI red deer have been harvested regularly.
Several whitetail packages fit different hunters: - Trophy hunts (150 class and up) - Trophy management hunts (large 8-point bucks) - Youth cull hunts with no trophy fee
Bird hunting options include pheasant, chukar, and quail shoots. You can bring your own bird dogs or use theirs.

Bring a rifle chambered .243 Winchester through .300 Winchester Mag (they recommend .270 or 30-06). Don't have one? They can arrange firearms at the ranch. For bird hunts, 20-gauge shotguns are standard but any gauge works.
