Cody Meeske grew up on a cattle ranch in eastern Washington, spending summers at the family cabin on Rimrock Lake and falls on pack-in hunting trips with his father Mitch. After working as an exclusive packer for a wilderness guide in the Wenaha-Tucannon Wilderness, Cody earned his licensed outfitter permit from the U.S. Forest Service. In 2020, he and his wife Dannan formed White Pass Outfitters to share what they love with others.
White Pass Outfitters operates under a special use authorization from the USDA Forest Service. Their base camp sits on NF-1305 (Soup Creek Rd.) off U.S. Highway 12 between Packwood and Naches, Washington.

Hunts take place in the William O. Douglas Wilderness (168,956 acres with 59 lakes and 200+ ponds) and the Goat Rocks Wilderness (108,023 acres, elevations 3,000–8,201 feet).
