Centralia Rifle Club and Junior Division in Arlington, Washington hosts Action Shooting International (ASI) events. ASI is a handgun shooting community designed by people with 20+ years in semi-pro competitive shooting who wanted to create something that works for average gun owners—not elite competitors.
Unlike IDPA or USPSA, ASI prioritizes the social and learning aspects. You're competing against the course, not fighting for every point. Think bowling league, not professional tournament.
Each match features multiple "stages"—shooting scenarios that focus on specific skills:
Stages repeat throughout the year so you can track your actual improvement. The courses are designed to be doable for average shooters, not just the elite.
