Full description and what we offer
The Oregon Sportsman's Club, located at 1726 Sand Hill Road just east of Oregon, Wisconsin, operates as a community hub for archery and shotgun sports. Members and non-members can participate in leagues, tournaments, and instructional programs year-round.
Clients shoot clay targets ("birds" or "pigeons") traveling at up to 60 mph. Sessions run $5 per participant and cover the cost of targets. You'll need eye and ear protection (bring your own), and 12- or 20-gauge shells. No shot larger than 7½ permitted.
Shotgun shooting hours are strictly regulated by a conditional use permit with Dane County. Shooting only allowed: - Mon/Tue/Thu: 6 PM–9:30 PM - Two Saturdays per month: 9:30 AM–2:30 PM - Maximum four single-day events per year - No shooting on federal holidays
The club is member-driven and volunteer-operated. Trapshooting Instruction Director Jared Hook (608.877.9703) handles registration and questions. Contact the club at [email protected] or check their Facebook page for event calendars and updates.
Originally developed to supplement bird hunting, trapshooting is now recognized as a competitive sport in its own right.
