Northwest Rod and Gun Club

Northwest Rod and Gun Club operates as a member-supervised facility within the Dunn County Park system in Boyceville, Wisconsin. There's no admission charge during posted shooting hours—you just show up and shoot. The catch: a certified Range Supervisor has to be present, which means the range opens 8am to dark six days a week, and noon to dark on Sundays.

• •Rifle Range – 24 shooting stations with targets extending nearly 190 yards. Four bays accommodate wheelchairs, plus one open station for prone or kneeling positions. Built for both casual practice and serious marksmanship.

• •Pistol Range – 10 dedicated firing stations with targets at 6, 18, and 26 yards. Shares the covered shooting line and backstop with the rifle range, includes accessible lanes.

• •Archery Range – Five fixed targets (15-50 yards) backed by a 150-foot wooded hill. Features an elevated platform for tree-stand simulation, plus a moveable crossbow target. Year-round access for hunters and traditional archers.

• •Trap Field – Dual-course clay target setup with modern throwers. Built for everything from first-timer shotguns to serious competition.

The facility sits within a scenic park area with picnic grounds and adjacent hiking trails. Boyceville has a local airport and small-town services nearby.
