Tyler Neugebauer established Brushed In Taxidermy in 2024 with one clear goal: produce quality mounts. He specializes in avian taxidermy—waterfowl and upland birds—and also works with big game including mule deer and whitetail.

As an avid waterfowl hunter himself, Tyler understands what matters: a mount that actually looks like the bird you harvested. He's not treating this as a commodity—he calls it a form of art.

If you're mailing a bird to Tyler, he'll email you a paper tag form. His storage tips:

1. Wipe excess blood with wet paper towels 2. Wrap feet and bill in lightly dampened paper towels 3. Place head on back 4. Seal in a plastic zipper bag with air squeezed out

Or use food-grade plastic wrap—just don't break feathers.
