General Information

REGISTRATION & CLASSIFICATION
Registration starts at 8:00 am. You will be handicapped and classified according to your ATA cards and/or known ability.

PRACTICE TRAPS
One practice trap will be open before the shoot. You can purchase practice tickets at the cashier window for the price of member tickets.

SHELLS
Are available at the club for purchase. Legal reloads are permitted. If you want your empties, catch them. No one will be allowed to pick up empty hulls.

AWARDS
No shooter may win more than one trophy per event. You must notify the handicapper if you are a lady, vet,  junior, or rookie.
No minimum number of shooters required for trophies.

SHOOT-OFF’s
All ties for trophies will be shot off, beon option  available or forfeit.  All ties money will be split.

LEWIS
Paid one per six entries on the singles and doubles events.

SPECIAL CATEGORY INFORMATION
VET = 65 or older, Junior = under 18, Rookie = Any shooter that has not shot 500 registered singles, 500 registered handicap, or 500 registered doubles.

CONDUCT
Boise Gun Club reserves the right to refuse entry or withdraw any contestant who in any way interferes with the safety, harmony and enjoyment of this shoot or to change or alter any portion of this program at any time prior to or during this shoot.

KITCHEN
Will be open for breakfast & lunch each day.

DIRECTIONS
From I-84 take Orchard (#52) exit. Go south on Orchard. Orchard Street merges with Gowen Road & turns south-east. Follow traffic along Gowen Road approx. 1/4 mile to Pleasant Valley Road. Turn south on Pleasant Valley Road for approximately. 6 miles to Kuna Road. First stop sign turn East on Kuna Rd. The club is on the North side approx. 3/4 mile.

 

Classification

Shooters are required to have their 16-yard and Doubles averages computed for use by the handicapper.  You should bring both your ATA and PITA cards.

Wins and ties in all 16 yard and doubles events, at all registered tournaments shall be recorded on each member’s Average Card.  It is the duty of each member to assure that all wins and ties in 16 Yard and Doubles events are properly recorded on his or her Average Card prior to entering any tournament.  The intent of this rule is to inform classification and handicap committees of prior wins and ties in 16 Yard and Doubles events.

You will be handicapped and classified according to your ATA card, your PITA card, and known ability.

16 Yard Classification

AA 97% and over
A 94% and under 97%
B 91% and under 94%
C 88% and under 91%
D Under 88%

Doubles Classification

AA 93% and over
A 89% and under 93%
B 85% and under 89%
C 78% and under 85%
D Under 78%

Special Classification

Veteran Any shooter 65 years or older.
Junior Any shooter under 19 years old
Rookie Any shooter that hasn’t shot 500 registered targets.
Lady No proof is necessary.

This certifies that the Boise Gun Club has been authorized to hold a registered ATA shoot at Boise, Idaho on August 1st, 2010.  ATA rules will govern the shoot and the scores will be included in the official records.

Entry fee for this non-compulsory option is $3.00 for each 50 for a total of $18.00.  Entry fees collected at this shoot will be added to the respective purse for the next BGC shoot.  Any two 25 straights win ONE-HALF of respective purse.  Each $18.00 entry is eligible for one-half of any or all (i.e., 100 straight) of these perpetual purses.  All ties divide respective monies.

The club will be collection a $1.00 fee in addition to the $2.00 fee for cross registering targets with the PITA.
