2Black powder or approved substitute

3Appropriate projectiles (round ball, conical, or saboted)

4Powder measure, patches, short starter, ramrod

5Percussion caps or flints

6Eye protection (required)

7Ear protection (required)

Safety Rules & Guidelines

Know these before attending

1- Only black powder or approved substitutes permitted - Muzzleloaders must be loaded only on the firing line - Never cap or prime a muzzleloader except at the firing line - Eye and ear protection required - Follow all Range Officer commands immediately
