New York Blocks ATF Online Sales Reform

New York Gov. Kathy Hochul is moving to require in-person firearm sales by statute, blocking a proposed ATF rule that would allow online purchases. The ATF proposal still mandates background checks—gun control groups opposing it haven't explained how it enables prohibited buyers to obtain firearms.
