JRPC Steel Plate Match (Short) at Hank Harmon Public Range

This is a Steel Challenge match—eight stages of fast-paced steel plate shooting where speed and accuracy matter equally. It's the most straightforward entry into competitive pistol, and JRPC runs a shorter version that fits a morning or afternoon.

You'll shoot five runs per stage and drop your worst time, so nerves on the first attempt don't tank your score. Shoot your handgun or pistol-caliber carbine through the standard Steel Challenge courses. It's a solid way to test your draw, transitions, and reloads against a clock.
