Benchrest Shooting

A competitive rifle match at Scarborough Fish & Game Association. Depending on the format, this may include benchrest, highpower, CMP service rifle, or practical rifle stages at various distances. $10 for Members, $15 for guests.   Registration starts at 9AM, shooting beginsat 10.   We will start with shooters shooting 20 rnds from the bench at 100yds.  Targets will be scored and replaced.  Those shooters will moveto the 50 and 185 yd ranges.  Shooters on the 50 yd range will shoot 20rnds from the bench, and shooters on the 185 will be shooting 10 rnds from thebench.  At the same time, another group of shooters will be shooting onthe 100 yd line.  All shooting relays will be 10 minutes long. There willbe no sight-in shots.  Every shooter will start at the 100 yd line, andthen base their next relays on their 'Kentucky Windage' best guess for hold. All 50 shots will be for score.  No rear bags will be allowed

The match gives you a chance to run a classic setup against other shooters and see how your marksmanship stacks up under match conditions.
