LE Rifle is a rifle match at Scarborough Fish & Game Association testing marksmanship fundamentals at distance. Hosted May 22, 2026 at 0800, it's a straightforward competition to see where your rifle and shooting stack up. The match runs through multiple distance stages where you're scored on accuracy. Bring a rifle you trust and ammunition—you'll need at least 60 rounds. This is the kind of event where you learn something about your setup and your own consistency under match conditions.

Speed Steel is a rifle match where you're timed against the clock while hitting steel targets. You'll face multiple stages with different distances and target arrays, testing how fast you can engage steel cleanly without missing. Central Whidbey runs this match regularly, so you get consistent competition and a solid gauge of your performance against other shooters pushing the same standards.
