100-yard rifle match using military bolt-action rifles—the kind that won wars. If you shoot a Springfield 1903, Enfield, Mauser, or similar surplus rifle, this is your format. Intermediate shooters compete against the clock and the target, seeing what these old rifles can actually do at distance.
Matches run on the standard 100-yard line at Aurora Gun Club. Competitors shoot in relays, trading off spotting duties with other shooters. It's straightforward accuracy work: zero your rifle, dial in, and group rounds downrange. Good way to understand what your vintage rifle is capable of and whether your technique stacks up.
