Full description and what to expect
Bolt-action military rifle match at 100 yards—shoot vintage military iron sights the way they were designed. This is straight competitive shooting with surplus and vintage rifles like the 1903 Springfield, Enfield, and Mauser, where accuracy comes down to fundamentals and trigger control.
Intermediate shooters compete at Aurora Gun Club on October 25th. Matches are calibrated to era-specific rules so your rifle's original purpose actually matters. You'll dial in against other shooters running the same class of equipment, which cuts through the gear noise and puts the focus on shooting.
