NRA Pistol Permit Class gets you through Connecticut's carry permit requirements in one day. You'll cover state carry laws and handgun fundamentals in the classroom, then prove you can shoot straight during the live-fire portion. This is the standard path if you want to carry legally in Connecticut.
You'll need to pass both a written exam on the law and a shooting proficiency test to get signed off. The instructor will walk through safe handling, shooting mechanics, and what Connecticut actually allows you to do with a permit once you have it.
