About This Program
What to expect when you show up
This is a .22 LR rimfire match at Meta Con Gun Club—cheap ammunition, minimal recoil, and clean scoring make it the best way to sharpen trigger control and sight picture without breaking the bank. October 12th, 2026 is your shot at it.
Smallbore competition runs tight matches where every shot counts. You'll shoot from known distances against other competitors, which beats the range paper drill because you're solving real problems: wind reading, position stability, and staying calm under the clock. It's the fundamentals laboratory.
