NRA Basic Rifle is a foundational marksmanship course that covers rifle fundamentals—stance, grip, sight picture, trigger control, and safety. If you're new to rifle shooting or want to nail the basics before moving to more specialized training, this is where you start. Mill Creek Rifle Club is hosting the course on October 12, 2026.
The class combines classroom instruction with live-fire practice on the range. You'll work through NRA curriculum designed to build solid shooting habits from the ground up. This is the standard entry point for rifle training.
