About This Program
What to expect when you show up
4-H Shooting Club Practice at Kiowa Gun Club gives young shooters structured range time to build fundamentals and compete in a supportive club environment. This is where 4-H members develop marksmanship skills and prepare for larger competitions.
Practice sessions run throughout the year, with October 28th being one of the regular scheduled dates. Shooters work through a standard format against known competitors, gaining consistency and confidence on a familiar range.

Safety & Rules
Know these before your first shot
- Eye and ear protection required at all times on the range
- Follow all Range Officer commands immediately
- All firearms must be unloaded when not on the firing line
- No handling firearms in spectator areas
