Monticello Sportsmen Club runs a public trap shoot where you show up and shoot clays with other shooters. It's straightforward: break targets, work on your swing, spend time on the line with people who shoot trap regularly.
Trap follows the standard five-station format—25 targets per round. You'll shoot from different spots along the trap house, each presenting a slightly different angle to the bird. Simple sport, repeatable, good way to sharpen your fundamentals or just put rounds downrange on a Tuesday.
