Steel Challenge is timed speed shooting at steel plates—eight standardized stages where you're racing the clock, not other shooters. It's a clean way to test accuracy and speed without the complexity of tactical scenarios, and it's the entry point most shooters use to get into competition.

You'll shoot five runs per stage, and your worst time drops. That format means a bad run doesn't tank your day. Handgun or pistol-caliber carbine, rimfire or centerfire—either works. It's straightforward, repeatable, and you'll leave knowing exactly where you stand against the times that matter.
