Nevada's Hunter Education Course teaches you the fundamentals you need to hunt legally and safely across the state. Run by the State Fish & Wildlife Agency, this classroom and range training covers regulations, firearm safety, and field skills from the ground up.
The course runs April 18, 2026 starting at 08:00 at Douglas County Community Center in Gardnerville. You'll get both classroom instruction and hands-on shooting work to build competency before you're in the field.
