Nevada's Hunter Education Course teaches the fundamentals you need to hunt legally and safely. This is a classroom and range day that covers firearm safety, hunting regulations, game identification, and field ethics—the knowledge required before you can get a hunting license in the state.
The course runs April 25th starting at 8:00 AM at Verdi Community Library & Nature Center. You'll spend time in the classroom learning state laws and hunter responsibilities, then move to the range for hands-on shooting instruction. This is the standard certification course the Fish & Wildlife Agency requires.
