Full description and what we offer

Irregular Design Group manufactures the Hesychia suppressor—a serialized, NFA-regulated item engineered with current material science and manufacturing standards. Located in Grants Pass, OR and Lancaster, OH, IDG handles advanced weapon system design and manufacturing entirely in the USA.

IDG sells Hesychia suppressors and manages the entire NFA transfer process with your local FFL/SOT. They don't process ATF paperwork directly, but they:

  • Verify your local dealer's FFL/SOT credentials
  • Submit Form 3 (dealer transfer) via ATF eForms
  • Ship to your FFL/SOT immediately after Form 3 approval
  • Provide clear guidance on Form 4 submission and tax stamp payment

The real differentiator: They've documented the entire NFA buying process step-by-step, including eligibility requirements, timeline expectations, and what to expect from your local dealer.

StepTimelineWhat Happens
FFL/SOT Verification1-7 daysIDG confirms dealer credentials
Form 3 Submission3-7 daysATF eForms approval

Form 4 & Tax Stamp1-90 daysATF eForms processing (typically 24 hours to 30 days)

Modern eForms processing is significantly faster than mailed forms. Get fingerprints and photos ready before your suppressor arrives at your FFL—you'll move through Form 4 approval quicker.

  • 21+ years old (or 18+ if using a trust)
  • Legal resident of one of the 42 suppressor-friendly states
  • Must pass ATF background check
  • $200 one-time tax stamp fee

The 42 legal states include: Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.

IDG recognized that NFA ownership feels complicated. They've stripped away the mystery with direct communication about what's legal, how long it takes, what your local dealer needs to do, and what you need to prepare. They also field specific questions about suppressor technology and NFA regulations via their website.
