Amp'd Up Custom Hearing Protection started in 2016 because Rebecca identified a massive gap in the market. Off-the-shelf earplugs—whether foam or rubber—don't fit anybody properly. She calls them "almost fits." Custom molds from an audiologist run hundreds of dollars and require multiple trips. Amp'd Up splits the difference: professional-grade custom molding at a fraction of audiologist prices, done at your location or at scheduled events across the Phoenix Valley.
The process is simple. You get your ears molded in 10-15 minutes by hand-impression. Staff creates a custom fit specific to your ear geometry. The earplugs are then manufactured to match those molds exactly—not estimated, not averaged, but fitted to your ears. You leave with molds in hand and can reorder or remake them anytime without another fitting appointment.

Two Ways to Get Fitted 1. Schedule appointments at Amp'd Up's work sites (call or text 602-690-0108) 2. Attend scheduled events at range locations—check the calendar for dates
Amp'd Up travels to your workplace to do impressions by appointment. This matters: they'll come to your facility if you have a team. They also hold regular appointment slots at Unlimited Ammo & Range (1695 S. San Tan Village Pkwy, Gilbert, AZ) multiple times per month. Current schedule includes appointments on the 21st, 23rd, 28th, and 30th of January, then regularly throughout February (4th, 6th, 11th, 13th, 18th, 20th, 25th, 27th).
They also sell eGift cards online if you want to send someone else for a fitting.
Commercial earplugs lose effectiveness because they don't seal properly in most ears. Custom molds eliminate that problem entirely. The fit is so comfortable that shooters and workers actually wear them—all shift long, all day at the range, comfortably during sleep. That's the difference between "hearing protection you own" and "hearing protection you actually use."
