About This Program

What to expect when you show up

[USPSA](/handbook/org-uspsa) match at Lincoln Rifle Club—this is a sanctioned pistol competition where you run multiple stages mixing speed and accuracy against paper and steel targets. Different divisions let you compete with your setup, whether that's a stock production gun, a tricked-out Open rig, or something in between. You'll shoot 4-8 stages from various positions and distances. Each stage has its own scoring; fastest accurate shooting wins. It's how you find out where you actually stand against other shooters, get feedback on your fundamentals under pressure, and see what works in a real match environment.
