Long Beach Rod and Gun Club

Long Beach Rod and Gun Club was established in 1938 and operates as a private members organization rooted in sportsmanship, conservation, and education. The club reflects the values of members who share a passion for fishing, hunting, hiking, and camping.

Hunter Education The club offers California's mandated hunter safety course in the traditional 10-hour classroom format. The course covers: - Firearm safety and handling - Sportsmanship and ethics - Wildlife management and conservation - Archery and black powder - Wildlife identification and game care - Basic first aid and survival

Certified volunteer instructors deliver the training, and students receive a State of California-recognized certificate upon completion.

Member Events The club calendar includes regular outings: - Baja fishing trips - Dove opener hunts - Blue fin tuna fishing - Lobster fishing - Barstow events - Holiday gatherings (Super Bowl Sunday, Christmas Party)

Clubhouse Venue The facility is available for rent at $800 per event, plus a $200 refundable cleaning deposit. A $100 non-refundable deposit reserves your date. The space includes a full kitchen, tables, chairs, and complimentary parking—suitable for birthdays, graduations, fundraisers, and business meetings.
