Garcia's Hunting Preserves, Inc. is a premier hunting preserve located in Lincoln, California, offering over 30 years of exceptional hunting experiences. This family-owned operation provides guided hunts for upland game birds, waterfowl, wild game, and turkey across Northern California's pristine landscapes.
The preserve specializes in diverse hunting experiences tailored to all skill levels:
- •Upland Game Bird Hunting - Pheasant and chukar hunts available Wednesday through Sunday during season. Day hunts start at $39 per pheasant or $26 per chukar, with bird card options offering the lowest per-bird rates.
- •Waterfowl Hunts - Fully guided duck and goose hunts with half-day options ranging from $300-$400 per hunter depending on season.
- •Wild Pig Hunting - One-day guided hunts on a 6,000-acre ranch in Maxwell for $850 per hunter, available year-round except April, May, September, and October.
- •Turkey Hunts - Spring turkey hunts fully guided at $850 per hunter.
- •Dove Hunting - Popular hunts at two locations (Maxwell and Lincoln) with flexible date options from $250-$600.
Unlike traditional hunting clubs, Garcia's Hunting Preserves charges no membership or initiation fees. Each hunt is individually priced for convenience. The operation is managed by owner Jim Garcia and a close-knit team of family, friends, and professional licensed guides. Gun dog training programs are available, including introductory programs for new dogs and pre-season conditioning courses.
Located just west of Lincoln, the preserve welcomes hunters from Sacramento, Reno, Southern California, and beyond. A valid California hunting license and applicable tags or stamps are required. Out-of-state hunters can purchase 1-day or 2-day licenses. Non-lead ammunition is mandatory for all hunts.
