Capture The Wild Taxidermy is a full-service studio founded by Steve Minckley, a Colorado Institute of Taxidermy graduate (2005) and certified taxidermist. Minckley isn't just technically trained—he's a hunter and fisherman who understands animals in their native habitat. That matters because it shows in the work.
Award Recognition - Multiple Colorado Taxidermist's Association awards in fish, birds, life-size mammals, shoulder mounts, and art - Work on display at Colorado Parks and Wildlife nature centers (Minckley donates time maintaining exhibits)
Field Support > Free animal skinning if you mount with them. If you're in the field with a phone, call and they'll walk you through the process.
