ECCO produces three core mounting system types:

• •Direct Thread Mounts — Simple, economical solution with threaded base adapters for common patterns (1/2-28, 5/8-24, metric M13.5×1 LH, M15x1, etc.). Direct thread is least expensive but prone to loosening and point-of-impact (POI) shift with repeated removal.

• •Quick Detach (QD) Systems — Few revolutions to install with secondary retention. Repeatability, lockup, and handguard recessing vary by design.

• •Taper Mount Systems — Superior retention and repeatability compared to direct thread, fewer installation revolutions than direct thread, and better handguard compatibility than some QD designs. Generally more economical than QD due to simpler design. ECCO produces taper mounts compatible with industry patterns including:
